Day 7- More games da da da...

Nomi, Cose, Citta

Today I did not have an activity to plan, but I played lots of games and taught them a game as well. I learned that the cards for Scopa can be played like the US dec of cards. It is easy to teach games that I know on a normal deck of cards on the scopa deck. 

I taught them how to play War on the scopa deck of cards. I learned that “Pardi” is war in Italian and one of Francesco’s friends taught me that. I learned that the little Aleccio has a medium attention span, but he finds it so funny when I speak italian. 

On top of teaching them War, I played Nomi, Cose, Citta again, but in a more organized way- the game was in a box (pictured above). Today was very relaxed and I am learning their schedules and entertainment patterns. 

Federica is allowing me to work on some of the administrative paperwork as well which will be really interesting to do in another language, but she will guide me - I am really excited.
