Day 13- Spoons = Addiction

The pieces we used to play bingo!

Today all of the kids were in Arielle. Most of the kids from Arielle and some from Primavera were all in the small kitchen in Arielle. It was so hot, but it was very fun. I had bingo prepared and they got bored of it so quickly. They were english words, so they had to translate and I would say the word in italian and they would find it in English. I think they would've liked it if I would have picked more words and different variations of words, but that lasted for about 20 minutes.

The best part of the day was when we were playing spoons. It was absolutely incredible. They were getting so excited and making complete fun of me for going extremely quickly and it was so nice. I understand them enough to get when they are making fun of me or to understand their exchanges, but I was genuinely exhausted after we finished the 50 spoons games we played. It was so so fun and I genuinely think they got so excited and were thrilled with the adrenaline rush. 

I think this was a level of trust that was built with them. They trust me enough to know it’s okay to make fun of me and I won’t get angry, but they also didn’t take it too far.
